Three generations of family farming in the heart of Tennessee. Our story is one of dedication, tradition, and a deep love for the land.
The Galloway Farms story began in 1952 when Great-Grandfather William Galloway purchased 120 acres in beautiful Gallatin, Tennessee. With nothing but determination and a love for the land, he began raising cattle and building what would become a family tradition spanning seven decades.
In the 1980s, his son James expanded the operation, adding heritage breed pigs and establishing the sustainable farming practices we continue today. James believed in treating animals with respect and working with nature, not against it.
Today, the third generation continues this legacy. Sarah and Michael Galloway, along with their children, carry forward the family's commitment to quality, sustainability, and community. What started as a small cattle operation has grown into a diversified farm producing premium meats and seasonal products.
"We're not just raising animals; we're stewarding the land for future generations."
- Michael Galloway
We practice rotational grazing, natural feeding, and regenerative agriculture to protect our land for future generations.
Our animals live stress-free lives on open pastures with access to fresh grass, clean water, and natural shelter.
We're committed to supporting our local community through quality products, farm education, and agricultural stewardship.
Expanded from the original 120 acres, our farm now includes diverse pastures, woodlands, and seasonal crop fields.
Our registered Galloway cattle are known for their hardiness, excellent marbling, and gentle temperament.
We raise Gloucestershire Old Spots and Large Black pigs, known for their superior flavor and foraging ability.
Our 15-acre sunflower fields provide oil seeds and create a stunning backdrop for farm visits and photography.
